Involvement in pastoral ministry assists the pastor through welcoming and ministering to individual parishioners, giving special attention to their physical, emotional and spiritual well being.

COMMUNION MINISTRY TO THE HOMEBOUND

Visits the homebound and nursing home residents, bringing communion monthly. Virtus training required.

ELDER CARE MINISTRY

Keeping our elderly parishioners connected to parish life through visits and remembering them on their birthday and church holidays. Special focus is on those parishioners now living in nursing homes, assisted living apartments or are homebound. Virtus training required.

FUNERAL LUNCHEONS/RECEPTIONS

Assists with table setting, food preparation and serving food, along with clearing, cleaning tables and operating dish washer.

GRIEF SUPPORT MINISTRY TEAM

Assists with Grief Ministry programs. Assist families (who do not use funeral homes) with the visitation prior to the funeral Mass, such as arranging tables in the Gathering Space for pictures and flowers, being present during the visitation for questions.
