Ann Loomis Foundation

To provide hope by assisting the most vulnerable children to obtain an education and bring the most basic necessities of shelter, food, clothing and medical care to the elderly and widowed poor.

While Father Tom Loomis served Church of the Resurrection Parish as a previous pastor, he had the opportunity to witness firsthand the poverty, hunger, and living conditions of families of India when visiting with his friend, priest, and native Indian, Father Marreddy Pothireddy, who also served at Church of the Resurrection. This trip opened his eyes to the great needs of these Children of God. With the memory of Father Tom’s late mother, Ann Loomis, and her belief that education was the way out of poverty, Father Tom, with the support of this parish, answered the call by establishing this special fund in 2004. Our help makes a real difference in their lives.

Joe Murray, who serves as the chairperson of this ministry has also visited and seen firsthand where the funds of Church of the Resurrection helps. Father Marreddy visits Church of the Resurrection on a yearly basis, in which monetary support is given at this time. Anyone wishing to make a tax deductible donation to this fund may do so by writing a check to: CFSM Ann Loomis Fund, PO Box 30098, Winona, MN 55987
