\"Dove\"Confirmation is the Sacrament in which one is enriched by the gift of the Holy Spirit and bound more perfectly to the Church. Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it strengthens us and obliges us to be witnesses to Christ by word and deed and to spread and defend the faith.<\/p>\n

Confirmation preparation usually begins in September of a student\u2019s 9th grade year or at age 14. This is a two-year program and is held on Wednesday nights with some weekend retreats.<\/p>\n

All candidates must provide proof of baptism or reception into full communion with the Catholic Church. Preparation includes small group faith sharing, retreats, service projects, parish participation, choosing a sponsor, choosing a Confirmation Saint name, and writing a letter to the Bishop.<\/p>\n

All student must complete a confirmation application.<\/p>\n
