It\u2019s Latin for \u201cTotally Yours,\u201d and is a program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship.\u00a0 The goal of Totus Tuus is to help young people grow in the understanding of, and strengthen their faith in, Jesus Christ. The program strives to help students be clear and consistent in their faith and to show the children that the humble yet courageous seeking of all believers is to be based upon the Word of God. The teachers for the Totus Tuus program are college age students, two men (seminarians) and two women.<\/p>\n<p>There are five essential elements to the Totus Tuus program:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Proclamation of the Gospel \u2013 to arouse faith.<\/li>\n<li>Explanation \u2013 examination of the reasons for our beliefs.<\/li>\n<li>Christian Witness \u2013 an experience of Christian living.<\/li>\n<li>Celebration of the Sacraments \u2013 especially Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation.<\/li>\n<li>Active Witness of the Missionary Nature of the Catholic Church.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>\u201cI am the way, the truth and the life.\u00a0 No one can come to the Father except through me.\u201d <\/em>John 4:16<em>\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"one_third last\" style=\"border: 1px solid #6222c9; padding: 10px; background-color: #f0f0f0; border-radius: 25px; margin-top: -25px;\">\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b>Totus Tuus<br \/>\nRegistration Information<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b>Bring a bag lunch &amp; drink every day of camp!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Cost:<\/b> $30 per person<br \/>\nand one dozen snacks per youth<br \/>\n(fresh fruit, veggie sticks, fruit snacks,<br \/>\ncheese sticks, crackers, or cookies)<br \/>\ndelivered on the first day of camp.<br \/>\n<!--<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rescathroch.org\/WP\/faith-formation\/youth-1st-5th-grade\/totus-tuus\/totus-tuus-registration\/\">REGISTER HERE<\/a>--><\/p>\n<p><em>*Scholarships available for Resurrection Parishioners<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is Totus Tuus?
