Pastoral Council Meeting Minutes July 2025

• For Single adults it is sometimes harder to meet other Catholics for dating
• Online Apps are not idea would rather meet other singles in person
• Age Group: 21 – 62
• Targeting the Diocese for greater potential
• Look at coordinating a sponsor
• Possibly look at creating a fundraiser from the event
• Could also be a means of outreach to bring singles into the Catholic faith
• Next steps committee needs to be created to determine interest level

• People seem a little off-put by having too many QR codes to look up information
• People would rather the information was presented up front in the bulletin vs. using a QR code to get the information
• Occasionally run out bulletins
• An option maybe to provide a summary with ‘need to know’ information and the QR code can link to deeper information

• How do we get the parish to know who the members of pastoral council
• Name tags ?
• Council can be a contact point to funnel ideas and concerns
• Nate to put together a blurb to give out names and our role; announcements, bulletin, website

• Missionaries are here this week
• Rosary
• Confession
• Talks

• September 14th – 10:00 – 2:00p
• Served 300 people last year
• A Single Mass 10:00am is scheduled
• Knights of Columbus to cook food (Hot Dogs/Burgers)
• Add Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Watermelon, Root beer Float options ?
• Need enough food options for food sensitivities
• Needs: Games for Kids, Music, Setup/Teardown, games for adults
• Teen/Adult Games: Bingo, Bag Toss,
• Form a small committee of coordinators
• Setup would be partially on Saturday and the rest Sunday morning
• Ely to work with Erin to setup/teardown Microphones, PA speakers, Sound System, Electric Piano etc.
• Rent tents – we have the tables and chairs
• What do we do if it rains/bad weather?
• Padre Pio Relics will be here also during this time in the church Sunday ONLY

• December 7th
• Kept on agenda as a reminder to be thinking about it
• There is a committee already
• Add more games for the little kids; ring toss, mini-basketball hoop,
• Last year it felt ‘too simple’ and not enough for the little kids to do

• Best way to do this?
• Pastoral Council to brainstorm for next meeting of best way to get people to update/verify their information
