These classes are for public, home, charter/online, and catholic school students who want to deepen their catholic faith and prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation. This class setting combines ongoing faith formation and confirmation preparation over a two-year period. Students meet on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Doors Open at 6pm for snacks and games.

All Grades: Complete the Circle of Grace curriculum for their grade level as required by the Diocese of Winona. The goal of the Circle of Grace program is to educate and empower children and young people to actively participate in a safe environment for themselves and others.

9th GRADE AND Year One Confirmation

On Wednesday nights beginning in September, the 9th grade Faith Formation and Year One Confirmation students will explore YOU- Life, Love, and the Theology of the Body. In an age of “selfies” and egocentrism, YOU cuts through the noise to present an authentic view of the human person. It presents young people with the extraordinary story of their creation as unrepeatable individuals. But the program doesn’t stop there. YOU. Life, Love, and the Theology of the Body introduces teens to the truth that life is not, in fact, all about them; it is about going out of themselves to be a sincere gift for others.

The Decision Point book study offers 9th Grade Faith Formation and Year One Confirmation Candidates relevant content, fun illustrations, discussion questions, and space for journaling to be completed outside of the classroom setting. This workbook prepares and inspires teens for Confirmation and invites them to develop a personal relationship with Jesus and to respond to God’s grace by encouraging faith study and prayer at home.

10th GRADE AND Year Two Confirmation

On Wednesday nights beginning in September, the 10th grade Faith Formation and Year Two Confirmation students will dig into the mystery of the Mass. Altaration addresses head-on one of the biggest problems we all face: how do we get Catholic teens to appreciate the awesome beauty and mystery of the Mass, and to actually look forward to attending and participating?

Through a unique learning experience teens will come to see the Mass and the priesthood in a dramatically new way. Altaration is designed to stir thought, create conversation, dispel myths, and inspire young souls to a deep and lasting love for the Mass. The goal of Altaration is not to fill teens’ heads with information but to pierce their hearts with transformation.

Every Catholic Christian is invited into a living relationship with the Holy Spirit, especially those seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation. It is in living life with the Holy Spirit that we find answers to some of teens’ deepest longings: Who am I? Where do I belong? How do I know what to do with my life? Is this all there is?  “Never Alone: Life with the Holy Spirit” brings about fruitful discussion and deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit for students preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
