Leadership Ministry

The councils and committees of the Leadership Ministry provide insight, expertise, and prudent advice, collaborating with the Pastor to discern vision and direction for parish initiatives. Each Leadership member shares in the responsibility of inviting others to a deeper faith and service to the parish community. Most committees meet monthly.

PASTORAL COUNCIL

Helps the pastor identify, implement, and evaluate those pastoral initiatives and policies best suited to spread the Gospel in this parish. New members participate in a discernment process. Three year commitment.

FINANCE COUNCIL

With a deep sense of Christian stewardship, this advisory body ensures that the parish operates under sound financial principles while carrying out the pastoral needs of the parish as discerned by the pastoral council. Members are appointed by the pastor.

LITURGY COMMITTEE

Members share in the ministry of overseeing and supporting our parish in all the ways we give praise to God through Christ in the Holy Spirit. New members come from the parish at large or represent a particular liturgical ministry.

MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

The Marketing & Communications Committee is dedicated to the review and creation of marketing strategies as well as how the Church of the Resurrection community is fulfilling (living) our church vision through modern communication tools.

SOCIAL CONCERNS/ OUTREACH COMMITTEE

Members develop within our parish a response to human needs and concerns in the light of social teaching. New members come from the parish at large or as representatives to a specific social justice project or group.

BUILDING AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE

This sub-committee of the Finance Council is made up of volunteers and staff who meet to discuss the maintenance and repair of parish property and facilitate implementation. New members are individuals who have interest and areas of expertise in maintaining our facilities.

A consultative body to foster and develop stewardship as a way of life throughout the entire parish.

Provides guidance for implementation of human resource policies and procedures in relationship to the parish staff and parish ministry coordinators.

PERPETUAL ADORATION LEADERSHIP TEAM

Leadership Team oversees and maintains the structure, insuring the health and vitality of Perpetual Adoration. The Team consists of Head Coordinator, 4 Division Leaders, Substitute Coordinator, Newsletter Coordinator, and Secretary and meets monthly. 24 Hourly Coordinators oversee the needs of adorers at a specific hour of the day and meet with the leadership team once a year.
