ADOPT-A-PARK: EASTWOOD

Church of the Resurrection Adopt-A-Park volunteers

Left to Right: Pelowski Family(Felix, Ely, Stella,Claudia), Nancy Brehmer, Coordinator Eileen King, Tom St.George, and Mark Schmidt

God truly blessed us with a beautiful day on Saturday, May 6th as the Church of the Resurrection Adopt-A-Park volunteers helped to make Eastwood Park ‘A Litter Bit Better’. A ministry of the Church of the Resurrection, the Social Concerns & Outreach Ministry sponsors Eastwood Park as part of the Rochester Adopt-A-Park program. This program is a great community service activity that gives the citizens of Rochester the opportunity to participate in helping to keep the parks clean and looking good.  The primary duties of participants is to pick up litter and report any vandalism or unsafe conditions they observe in the parks.  If your family, or yourself are interested in doing something with other parishioners to make the community a better place to live, work and play, please consider volunteering.  Volunteers, coordinated by Eileen King, meet twice a month May through October.
